Getting ready for Opening Day

Spring is the start of the BMX race season and Capital BMX are holding our season opener on Sunday 14th September. We’ll be running two concurrent events.
Have-a-Go
‘Have-a-Go‘ for novices and new riders who want to give it a try. 10am-12pm
We can provide bike and helmet, and a bit of coaching to get you (or your young person) out on the track and having fun. Age 3+.
Start off with some balance skills around the cones. Ride the rollers on Straight 4. Ride Straights 3 & 4 from the entrance to berm 2. Drop in from the top of berm 2. Rinse, repeat! Smile!

SQORZ Gate WORZ
SQORZ Gate WORZ for experienced riders with transponders.
One hour, 11am-12pm. $5 entry with prizes for the fastest gate time and/or the most gates in each race class. Followed by a jump jam and racing.
Have a Go riders are welcome to stay and join in racing provided they can ride at least straights 3 & 4 on their own.
We’ll have a coffee cart on site, the tunes cranking and the BBQ sizzling, so let’s get our season off with a bang. See you there!
