Last week nine riders represented Capital BMX at Nationals in classes ranging from 8 Girls through to 17-24 Males 20″.

Aella Robinson had a very consistent weekend in the 8-year-old girls, placing fourth. She had four 3rd-place finishes in her motos, along with a 2nd and a 4th as well as a 4th-place finish in her final.

Kiera Ocoboc was another consistent rider with five 4th-place finishes in her motos and consistently around the 47-second mark in timing. Kieria placed 8th in the 10yo Girls and placed 4th in the 9yo Girls for the 2025 National Series.

Otis Wedde placed 11th in the 9 Boys with for 2nd place finishes in his motos, along with a 1st and a second.

Joe Hoy placed 29th with a mix bag of finishes, three 3rd places, two 5th places and a 7th place. Joe Hoy placed 29th in the 9-year-old boys with a mixed bag of finishes. Brielle Luke placed 17th in the 12yo girls.

2025 National Series Winners. Keria Ocoboc 4NZ in 9yo Girls, Jamie Harkness 3NZ in 16 Boys and Jack Kelly 1NZ in 12 boys

Jamie Harkness placed 18th at Nationals but has come away with the 3NZ for 16 Boys in the 2025 National Title.

Jack Kelly was strong in his motos for 13 boys with three 2nd place finishes and a 1st but was not able to compete on the Sunday after a crash in practice. Jack has taken out 1NZ in the 12yo Boys in the 2025 National Series.
